Colour changing Brahmas

Hi,

I recently bought some lovely Brahma fertilised eggs from Ebay and put them under a broody hen. This morning I was over the moon cos three had hatched! They seem almost black. Will the colour lighten as they get older?

Hi, I ordered dark Brahma, but these seem black. The ones I've seen before were slate gray. Yes, they seem to have fluffy legs. Probably fine, just not seen ones that looked like this before.

Those are Black Brahmas. Dark Brahmas have chipmunk strips and are silvery in color.
