colouring easter eggs

hi, i'm a newbie and would like to know if anyone has ideas for colouring brown eggs for easter. do regular dye kits work?

There's a post on here recently about it. Apparently if you use the dye kit that uses vinegar the colors come out quite vibrant! Just query the search button and you should find the post with lots of pretty pictures!
