I wanted to know which day was the better day to go. Is there an area that you can go to that has their chickens for sale?

Coop in starts on Friday, the show itself runs through Sunday mid-day. If you're going to purchase chickens, the best time to show up is early Saturday morning. There are always lots of sale cages, all sorts of good birds should be for sale there. Be sure to bring your own carrier, and be aware the general public is charged admission (I don't know how much.)

We'll be there, for sure!

How early on saturday? So i might find my white egg layer and hopefully a pure breed ameraucan?

I am thinking that the show opens at 6 am on Saturday morning, but you'd want to check to make sure. You can contact Eric Markley at markley AT watchtv DOT net and ask him for sure. I can't guarantee what sorts of birds will be there, but you can expect a wide assortment! If I remember correctly, last year there were over 200 sale coops filled with birds.
