Comb and Waddle going Pale

Recently I've been noticing that the comb and waddle of my chickens has been growing pale. Is this anything of concern? It's been extremely hot recently as NJ has been going through a heatwave, so could this be the reason, and is there any way I can make sure they're ok in this heat?

The excessive heat may be causing the paleness in their combs and 'wattles' - the last several days have been rough here in NJ. Depending upon age they may be ready to start a molt and normal break in their egg laying cycle.
