2 year old silver laced wyandotte is lethargic since last night. She didn't sleep on the roost, instead sitting on the droppings pit. I had to make her get up this morning. She isn't interested in a treat. Yesterday in the nest I found a soft shell egg that had been mashed flat and in another nest one egg looked like it had yolk on it. I don't know if those clues are related. I checked her vent and crop and can't find anything unusual. Her comb and wattles are very, very pale. What should I do?

So sorry to hear about your chicken. Isolate her from the rest of your birds. A bird that does not go up into the roost is definitly sick.

See if you can get her to eat some plain, unflavored yogurt. Give her a couple of drops of baby vitamin liquid. If she is not drinking water by herself, you can try using and eye dropper and dripping it into her beak.

I know this isn't much help, but give it a try.
