My Bantam Leghorn has an unimpressive comb.
Now that she has begun to lay, will it continue to grow?
Or is what she has fully developed? She is 24 wks. old.

It may grow a bit more but likely not a night & day kind of difference. Leghorn bantam females generally don't have a real big comb unlike their large fowl counterparts.

NYREDS,
Thanks, I was hoping she'd grow more of a comb, it's such a nice contrast color.
I suppose since I worry enough about her and the cold, it's a good thing it's small and fits nicely under her wing.

I see Bantam Leghorns with lovely, larger combs on Terry Golson's Hencam.com, they are so pretty!
I suppose they are excceptions, and not the rule.
