1 of my Orpingtons has a comb injury, looks like she may have ripped 1 side, bloody, wiped it down as best I could, what can I put on it so the other chickens wont go after her comb?
I did put her in the coop until I can run and get something for her, would it be ok if I left the other chickens in the run overnight so they don't bother her? Don't really have anywhere else to keep them separated.

Look for something called BLU KOTE....it will help "hide" the blood.

As far as leaving your chickens in the run....as long as it is built like fort knox.

OK, I'm going to run and get some, as far as the run, its safe, food stays out every night and it never has been touched, we live in town so don't have any issues with critters, really don't want to keep them separated though......
