I have 2 chicks who have from early on had larger combs on their heads. Now those 2's combs are starting to get some reddish coloring on them. I have pics that I'll be posting tomorrow.
Is it possible that one of those is a pullet and just developing fast, or is that a clue that they are cockerels?
Also, do tail feathers even out and the adult birds will have similar in length tails or will some have longer tails than others? I have 2 with long tails, 2 with short tails, 1 med. tail.
