..ok---read and obtained some info the chicken frostbite issue--

-----i,ve got the petro-jel , now , how much do i rub on , if she get the bite---what can i expect---what is additional cure , and what can i to do to make her more comfortable if she get the frostbite ????

I'm not sure but the best way is prevention. Keep her warm, in a draft free but well ventilated coop.
 
You think you got problems... I have two white leghorns with the most floppiest combs and I live in Alaska. I am going to coat their combs with tons of Vaseline. If I thought they would keep them on, I'd crochet them some little hats. This first winter ought to be interesting. Good luck to you and your leghorns.
