So my baby chicks and ducklings will be coming soon and I have one rooster left from my 7 that I had. I thought if I kept him and got all hens (also 4 ducklings) then I will have a rooster for the ladies! I have never done this before and when I got my first batch straight run, they all turned out to be roosters. So I ordered all hens. Will the rooster (who is only 5 mo. old) become part of the flock when the girls are old enough to be around him? I don't even know how to go about combining them... help please?
