Combining Full Grown Layers with 10 Week Olds

So, my flock of 16 assorted brown layers is just over 10 weeks old. They've settled nicely into their 8X10 coop and 20X30 secure run.

Friends have requested I take their chickens (possibly 9 full grown layers) and try to integrate them all.

What do I need to do to make sure all goes well if I decide to try to combine their flock with mine?

Only reason they want to get rid of their flock is because it was dad's, who can no longer care for them.

They will need to meet through a fence or cage for a few weeks where they can see each other. Then provide lots of hiding spots for the smaller birds to hide at. Some people wait until both groups are done growing but it's up to you.
