So, I was looking at my White Leghorns today, and noticed that their combs seem to have gotten smaller and less red. They haven't been laying lately, and that's because they're molting. Can that cause the combs to change? I don't have a photo, but I can get one if it would help.

It's normal. If you look at their legs they'll probably look bleached as well. The color will come back when they are ready to start laying again.

my chicken combs are dull also. ashy looking( it's ben SUPPER HOT lately) like dry skin. if you get a reply I was wondering about "Dull or pale(ashy) combs.
