Everyone is welcome to join in the Crazy Egg Chain. It is lots of fun, and gives you the opportunity to get a new breed just for the cost of postage and 6 eggs. The more the merrier!!!

I personally think 12 eggs would be better. 6 eggs isn't even enough to worry about shipping, IMO.

It is at least 6 eggs...more are welcome. I just got 8 in my last swap. Some people would not be able to get 12 eggs together in a good time frame, so I think that's why they went with 6. You can also offer waterfowl, quail, pheasants, etc.
This chain is for purebreds only, but some are talking about a mixed breed chain also. It would be hard to get people to offer purebred eggs in exchange for mixed, so it's probably better to keep them seperate.

maybe make one for purebreds & one for mutts? And maybe one for waterfowl & one for game birds?? Just a suggestion.
