Come to the run silly chickens

My chickens won't go into the run! Is it because they saw my RIR get picked up by a hawk or because of recent rain. Yesterday a hawk grabbed my RIR (she's doing better now and her eye is just scratched, so she won't lose it). I took my babies in last night to chill in their XL dog crate. I put them out today and had the run door shut but they won't come out. I'd understand not wanting to free range, but they are making a mess in their coop...

throw them and some food out there,, and get a net for the top of ya run.

The run is hawk proof, just I let them run around while I was filling their water. Not doing that again and have plans to make a larger run.

Tiss a mystery. I have my run covered too. The first time I saw a hawk fly over, the chickens did too and headed for the run and coop. I would try putting some of their favorite treats out in the run.

I tryed putting them in the bottom, the Ameraucana RAN up the ramp. I feel so bad. When I set in their run (after I cleaned it), Acer (dominique) came down after searching the sides of the run. Ilex came afterwards. Ginger is still doing good. She came into the run for a little while, but isn't in shape to stay outside full time. The vet put some liquid bandage stuff to close the gash in her neck. Her eye is better, still squinting. I'm glad we didn't euthanize her like he said we should. She is walking a little more. She's enjoying the yogurt and oats she's getting

Probably Tuesday I'll see if they do good with her in there. I need to paint their coop today.
