My hens haven't laid any eggs since the end of November, due to not adding any artificial light to my coop. I am expecting them to begin again soon. Just wondering, when they begin to lay again, will I see similar signs as when they laid for the first time? (Squatting, reddening comb & wattles, practice nesting, etc.)

I wonder this too. You could try giving them a little extra protein everyday to give their egg laying a boost. This worked for me. Took about a week of giving them extra protein to get results. Mealworms are best but soybeans work, too.
