Hi all-
I have a (possibly male) EE that was bought from Agway back in mid-May. I believe Agway buys their chicks from Ideal Hatchery.
It has seemed to me that since it was brought home it has had pure liquid poops. I thought for a long time that the water feeder was leaking, but then I thought it might be one of the chickens, and sure enough, today I saw this EE squirt out a perfectly liquid poop.
This chick is seemingly healthy in every other way. She has grown fast, seems as active as the other chicks, curious, etc...
We feed our chicks the Nutrena medicated chick started crumbles, and occasionally a vegetable or fruit treat, like lettuce, dandelion, watermelon, strawberries, or blueberries.
I also have at least one chick that has normal looking poops, and another one that is pooping out piles that look like diarrea.
We have 6 chicks all together, and I am just not sure what I can do to remedy.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Thanks-
Ginger
