completly broken leg. 1 week old chick

I had chicks recently, all natural. Unfortunely i was away when they were born. I come back and one seems to have a broken leg. It will only walk on one leg and lets the other one just kinda drags.? He wont but weight on it and if i get close to it her moves his toes all together so i think the acutal foot is ok? Anyone know what might be wrong and if there is any way i can help her. Thank you.!

I have never had a chick or hen with a broken leg.. but I have seen threads on BYC where people have made a splint out of something like a stick or piece of pencil. Try searching the threads and hopefully someone will chime in who has had the same problem. Good luck to you.
