Pallets will work for a compost container. Stacked just like Kazfam has their cinder blocks, load it up with grass clippings, leaves, and some good dirt, in a 7-3-1 ratio, mix it on saturday and it's good to go. water helps, but not too much, mixing it will keep mold away. You will see it working as the pile gets smaller as you mix it.
