I'm not really good with computers and I just bought a new laptop. Here is my question: How do I transfer my music from my old computer to my new one? The old computer has XP and the new one has Windows 7. I'm sure some of yo will read this and think I'm and idiot, but any help would be great!!!

Do you have a network setup with a router?
If not, you could get a transfer cable. This will transfer your files. Best buy has them and some one there should be able to give you direction on usage.

You could also use an extrenal hard drive. Or if you're like me and enjoy doing things the hard way (not!) you could use a 2 GB hard drive to transfer 30 GB of files! LOL

Both operating systems will handle .mp3 files just fine. You just need something to move them from one machine to the other. You can use a firewire cable (which requires a bit of geeky computer knowledge to handle), an external hard drive, a flash drive (hopefully a large one or it would take forever), or you can hook up both computers to the same network and enable file sharing between them (also a geeky solution).
