Concern for bottom?

Just received yesterday. Blue olive egger. Should her bottom look like this? If not, what to do?

It might be pasty butt, give it a soak in a little bowl of warm water and see if it comes off, do not pull it. If it isn't poop then we'll need further help. Pasty butt can kill if you don't get the vent unblocked.

It did come off but can't tell if appears to be a bit swollen or not. A short time later a white dot appeared. A little after it, the dot moved down and a new dot appeared. Other than cleaning every day, should I do more? I did put a bit of Vaseline there based on reading other feeds .
