Concerned about progressive pied/progressive white with my cameo bs peacock

I bought this cameo black shoulder boy a year ago. At the time, I was told he was about 1, but I think he was more like 6 months because he still has some baby feathers, and his train obviously has a lot of growing left to do. That would put him at roughly 1 1/2 to 2 right now. As he molts out, I'm noticing lighter feathers coming in on the tops of his wings and back. So far, none have come in on his neck or train. Am I seeing the start of progressive white, or are these just new feathers that are lighter than his older ones?

As you can see, no white feathers are showing on his neck or chest.

I'm more concerned with the ones you can see in this picture that are coming in on his upper back and the upper tips of his wings, near his shoulders.

Editing to add another picture, which was taken early this past winter. To me, he looks so much darker then than now.

It's absolutely the same bird in all three pictures. He's the only cameo bs cock I own, and I took all three pictures. The one in the snow was taken early this past winter, and the other two were taken this past week.

That's why I'm concerned. He was much darker than he is now. As long as it's not progressive pied/white, I don't care if he turns pink. :lau I just want to be on top of any potential health issues that may develop (but hopefully not).

There are a couple of things that will make peas look darker. First the new blood feathers will be flush with blood making them look darker and richer in color. Cameos, Peach, Purple, and European Violet will all sun fade as the year progresses. The snow in the pic will also make other objects look darker. I doubt that you need worry about your bird being progressive white as he looks very normal for a Cameo carrying a white gene, in this case split WE.
