Hello all, I’m a new Chicken mom since March 24th. I’m absolutely loving this new adventure with three beautiful girls. One blue laced gold Wyandotte, and two starlight e.
It’s my Luna, the BLGW that I’m concerned about. The joke around here is that she is neurotic. She freaks out if I get too close, if I pick her up she has major freaks. She is a huge drama queen. When I got her young I was as social as possible with her and the other two. I can’t wrap my head around this odd behavior, they were never neglected, socially. I was told that this was a “good mannered” breed.
I think she is at the bottom of the pecking order, in some ways. I’ve noticed as of recently she won’t dust bath like the other two. When snacks are given like corn, tomatoes, ect. she won’t be around, she stand away, and gets scraps if there are any left. It’s like she isn’t allowed to enjoy.
If anyone can give me some advice on what I can do to help her I’d be much appreciated. I love her dearly and I want to make her feel that the best I can.
