Hello!
My name is Gary and I’ve owned chickens most of my life. What started as an Ag project in high school and 4-H, has grown into a life-long interest in these feathered friends.
I’ve designed and built a few chicken coops in my day and currently have a mixture of Maran/Lavender Ameracaunas and some young Golden Comets. I’m starting some Mosaics in the incubator tonight. I’m intrigued with these colors of lobes and combs.
I would like a fresh batch of fertile Black Copper Maran eggs, if anyone has a good resource...
I will join the Mosaic thread and report on my progress there.

Thank you!! I’m a teacher by trade and assigned my students a project to build a coop that would model a 4’by 8’ life-sized coop, complete with laying nests and roost. We then had the school vote on the ‘best’ one. Whichever one won, I agreed to build it. It was fun and I’ll snap a photo when I get home...
