When I first got my Standard Cornish they were rock hard, solid birds. Now, they seem kind of...soft.
They are in large pens with roosts/objects for them to fly up on/play with. Plenty of room to be active.
They are getting Hubbard feed chicken pellets. This is supposed to be a higher quality feed.
So how do you get the Cornish in good muscle condition for shows?
