Thanks for the tips. I did get mine at TSC. I'm reinforcing the door with 14 gauge metal plates, the coon bent it up a tiny bit to get out, though it was fine for the possum I caught. I had blocked off where it got in 2 nights prior to it's last visit and I'm happy to report no more deaths since last Wed. I'm guessing this one was a loner (thankfully).

I still plan to get some of the dog proof traps. Better safe than sorry.

Good stuff! I know I've got coons around still, but are trap shy. Will set up my trap somewhere else.
