Confused broody?

I have a banty that acts like she is broody. About a month and a half ago I thought she was going broody. She sat on the nest for a week, puffed up when you went near her, growled and all of that good stuff. Then after a week she got up and went back to normal. I put eggs under her thinking she was going to sit but after she got up and didn't return to the nest, I pulled them. Now she is doing it again. She is on day 5 of sitting. I'd love to put eggs under her if she will actually stay but don't want to waste them if she is just going to get up again. Suggestions?

The first time she stopped she probably just was a first time broody and didn't no to stay(happens a lot). You should have better luck this time. In short, go for it! Oh, and I can't help but mention that I'm am experiencing my first broody hen! She's doing good so far, so good luck to us both!
