I am curious. My drakes seem to understand the morning and evening routine, but the hens seem to get "lost". "In the house" heads the drakes for the house at night and the tractor in the morning. "In the house" to the hens means we run all over the yard every morning, although the routine to go in the tractor is the same every day. They just do not seem to get it. Too busy foraging to pay attention? The tractor being moved every 3-4 days (by only a few feet) too confusing for them. The drakes are easy, then hens take dedicated herding every morning. Anyone find this to be the case as well? (Hens too busy "multitasking" my spouse would say! LOL)
