Hi I have a fully feathered 3 week old polish chick and a 6day old silkie chick, there both in one 3ft incubator,as I got them at the same time,my polish chick looks really bored and hot but I need to keep the heat for the baby,I put him outside when it was hot with my flock of 9week olds and he got head butted :-( so he cant go with them...do you think I should try and get him outside with them or is he too young or should I just make him move at the pace of the baby chick and move them to out to there own coop when babys old enough im stuck...any suggestions...xx

Three weeks is too young to integrate into a flock under most circumstances. Heat one end or corner of the brooder only. The whole area does not need to be heated nor is it really desirable to do so. They can regulate their temperature by moving around in the brooder.
