So about a month ago, I had purchased two EEs. They both had the beard fluff and were the same size, however- now, nearly a month later, they look drastically different. The lighter color one being what looks to be a perfect EE. The darker colored one is now showing signs that it may be a bantam (or part bantam) and has lost its beard. The darker one also has different types of feathers, including solid colors, striped, and speckled feathers. Does anyone know what’s going on? Will it turn out to be the same as the white EE? Maybe it is part bantam? This chick is just really confusing

EE's are basically mutts. They are a cross of anything and a chicken with the blue egg gene. They could be anything I'd guess! It is confusing. My 2 are predominantly cream legbars, but I can't tell mixed with what. Mine look different but similar.
