Congested Eye

I need some help with a pretty Araucana that I got as an adult. She got a cold shortly after I got her and it got into her eye. I tried to clean it, used polysporin but managed to get an eye infection myself. I used my eye drops on her and it cleared up. Them three months later she got pecked in the eye and it started up again. I need to get some antibiotic steriod eye drops but I can't get them without a prescription. Is there any way of gettin these drops without having to go to a vet?
