Considering a change

I have a coop and run. I am thinking of taking it to pieces using the nesting boxes and perches and door of the coop using them to convert a 6 * 4 shed into a coop and putting the run on the front of it, that way the best bits of the run will still be used and the girls will have much more room to be in. I would us the base of the coop to make a poop board to put under the perches. What are your thoughts on this

More space is always better! Chickens do fine in a fairly openair design, even fairly far north. Maybe these will give you some ideas:
