I have a Hovabator 1588, with circulating fan, and hydrometer/thermometer and auto egg turner. I am reading that humididy starts at 40-60% then at lock down (3days before hatch) bump humidity to 80-90%.

How do you control the humidity in these incubators? Thanks ahead of time.

I think 80-90 for lockdown is way too high. I have mine running at 40 for the incubation and 60-65 for lockdown. 70 is the highest itshould ever be. You will get tons of different opinions though. I use sponges and feed through a straw to add humidity.
