Converted Shed to Coop

Being new to BYC I bought a coop, it said it was big enough for 3 chickens, but to me it seemed too small, so I bought a shed to convert.

Everything look great! But you may want to add more ventilation and move the nest boxes lower to the ground so your flock doesn’t sleep in them.

Yes I was thinking moving them, I was short of timber so made do for now, but I will move them.
I'm no joiner by the way as you can tell but the chickens don't know that lol.

I just had a peek at the girls now they are in their new home, they were on the roost, I'm please about that, in the old smaller one they slept in the nest, it was too small.

Yes, I cut some ventilation holes this morning, thanks.

I decided against the plastic buckets as nest boxes. I ordered a set of wooden ones which I will mount lower down.
This morning I had a couple of hens circling the old coop, I could tell they were ready to lay.
I felt bad because I have cleaned it out and I want them to get used the their new coop, they went from the old to the new and back again, none of them would lay in the new coop.
I made a couple of makeshift nest boxes out of cardboard boxes and put some straw in, one settled in one but didn't lay.
I had some fake eggs on order and luckily they came today, I placed one in each box and one of the hens laid an egg, but nothing from the other one, not sure if it laid it elsewhere, I still have one hen that hasn't laid at all yet.
