Yes, official day is Monday but we celebrated this afternoon, i over made turnip and would hate it to go to waste. Thanks!

I always thought Turnips were a southern dish, do you eat the greens too or just the root?

hmm, no idea? just the root.. and we add brown sugar and mash it down.
