cool gadget to check eggs w/o floating...!

So i was at a nearby Dollar General store not too long ago and for 5.00 they had something called a "Ear Amplifier"...it looks like a supper cheap hearing aid..which is pretty much what it is. Anyway, i had a batch of eggs that i had a bad hatch on b/c my temp gauges failed. I used this to listen to the eggs and it works AMAZING...you can hear the heartbeats of every live chick. You don't have to worry about harming chicks with the float test and it's quick and easy as is possible to be! Just thought i'd share. i'm sure it would work for any type of egg.

you can tell what eggs are good just as soon as there's a heartbeat and it takes all of 2 seconds or so to "test" ......cool huh!

it's trademark name is ...EAR AMPLIFIER...item # 50239...made in china. sold at Dollar General Store
no other information on the package.
