I just wanted to share that I am using my entry level incubator one more time while I source out an upgraded version. In doing so, this time I placed the incubator inside a used cooler, you Coleman picnic style that I purchased at thrift shop, and I just can't believe how stable my temperatures are now. It is a night and day difference even though in my past incubations, I had wrapped the incubators with three layers of towels. In this scenario, the lid of the cooler is left wide open and a thin towel is laid across the top covering half of the top opening. I haven't had to adjust the incubator temperature once, whereas before it was monitor and babysit the entire time. Ambient room temperature is also set at 22C. (71.6F) which I'm certain is also helping.

Most likely that by putting it in the cooler has reduced drafts and also helped stabilize the ambient temperature around the bator.
