Cooling systems for incubators?

I have recently purchased a Brinsea Octagon 20 advance ex and it has an option for "cooling" the eggs for however many hours a day you want. I just want to know if people have had success with any cooling periods? Ive never used this feature before but Brinsea says it can actually increase hatch rates?

Any help would be great thanks!
