Thought I’d post pics of the coop and run my hubby designed and built for our 3 Black Australorp hens who are about 1 1/2 yrs old. The open part of the run has a roof on hinges. We lift it up and dump all our weeds, food scraps and other chicken safe stuff. I can’t believe how much they can process! We used to have huge compost piles and now we just have a couple inches of dirt! They’re amazing creatures! PS, they are really great slug eaters! Best garden helpers ever!
