Hi newbie to raising chickens, So I got this little chicken coop and want to put in this area, I thought about filling it in with like 4" of sand and then putting coop on top, do I need to sit coop on something first or is it fine as is? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated to set up chicken coop area. Tell me your thoughts.

My thoughts are you should get a real size coop and lose the model of a coop! Just kidding... kinda.
How many birds of what breed are you planning to house in that teeny tiny thing?
What kind of predators to you deal with?
How hot do your summers get?
Those little pre-fabs are notorious for lacking in ventilation and it's hard to get it installed.
