Coop built on a cedar tree, safe?!

First time raising chickens and I've done a lot of research. Cedar chips are not good for chicks, understood. But my husband just built the coop from my kids tree fort which is wrapped around a big cedar tree. Is this going to be ok/safe for my chickens, or will the aroma from the tree still harm them?!

They'll be fine. Lots of coops are built out of cedar (mine is). The chips have a lot more aromatics released than wood or a live tree.
