coop but no run

i have a 8ft wide x6ft long coop no run how many chickens will this fit stay in coop all time

how many nest boxes do you have also

they need about 1 box to 3 and space wise your looking at 8x6= 48 sq feet... 4 per hen min more is better

Yes, each chicken needs 4 sq feet in the coop if there is a run. Without a run, I would say that each chicken needs at least 8 sq feet in the coop. I would say the max would be 6 chickens.

my coop is 12 x 4.5 and I have 9 standard sized chickens,,of course I may 'expand" )) My run is 12 x 20.
