Coop Divider Build?

Hey all,
I want to divide my coop in two for LF and bantams, I know some people keep them together but we haven’t had the best luck with that. However, I don’t know how I want to do that, so asking all of you super smart diy people! My coop is 6x8, with one entrance to the run on one wall. Is there any good way to do this?

I was thinking to section off the right third, it would be 2x8 for 4 bantams? Would that be enough space?

Might be enough space for the birds, but would be tough for you to get in there to tend to things.
Do you plan on splitting the run too?
How many large fowl birds do you have?

I don’t have any right now, but was thinking of getting maybe 4 or 5.

What about another small coop attached to the run, rather than dividing your existing one.

Hmmm....I think it would be rather tight space, especially in winter.

If I built another coop in the run, it would have to be small and inexpensive, and I’m worried about the bantams being too cold in there for winter.

Not sure what the best use of your space will be, but FYI, we did divide our 8 x 16 coop into one 8 x 6 guinea fowl section and one 8 x 10 chicken section. We have a walk through gate between the two sections. The guinea section turned out to be too small, so we are making them a new coop.

Why not outside the run, with it's own chicken entrance. The bantams and LF will still be mingling in the run right? To keep them separate, you would have to divide your run as well. Aren't your birds subjected to the cold in their current coop? I would worry about proper ventilation, without wind blowing directly on them, and forget about the cold.

Never go smaller! Which is what your trying to do in a way. Pay now or pay later. I 2nd @Ghosty idea.
