Coop Feedback!

So as I stated in my previous post, my husband and I are new to the chicken world. We are loving it so far (just do much we have to learn). We built the coop ourselves out of a shipping crate for something for an 18-wheeler.

Here is our coop before we started. We got it like this from my husband's work.

Here it is after we finished

We used the trusty file folder boxes from wal-mart for nesting boxes (although we have a while before they start laying)

Any advice for our coop would be GREAT!!! I was pretty proud of our homemade coop seeing as how we have never built anything in our whole lives except for maybe the occasional bird house!

Congratulations on your new coop! It looks like it should have great ventilation.

Only thing I can think of, is to suggest you add something, like a piece of 1/2 X 3 inch wood, along the bottom front of the nest boxes to prevent the eggs from rolling out and getting broken.
