Coop finally started!!!

Who would have ever thought that planning out a simple chicken coop would be so stressful??? But now the planning is done and we're on to the fun part...actually building the coop!!! We started on Tuesday. Building the floor and framing the walls has gone much more quickly that I would have thought. The structure has a little covered porch area for the chickens. I will be posting pics as we progress. I'm so excited!! I'm hoping my pics will come through...

Our coop sits close to our garage. Most bad weather comes from the west for us, so it should be pretty sheltered. Plus our run will wrap around the the back of the garage. Back there it's 16 ft. wide and about 40 feet long.
