For 2 silkies and 4 Isa browns. How big should the actual coop be, not including a run. They should need 3 nesting boxes? It's looking like 5 out of the 6 are hens but I'm rally hoping they all are.

General rule of thumb is 3-4 square ft. of coop per chicken and I think it's 10 square feet of run. approximately 10-12 inches of roost space per chicken as well with 18 inches of head clearance, 12 or more inches to the wall (they need to be able to fly up to the roosts and need to be able to spread their wings and need to have ventilation) hopefully you can find a good web link with all the numbers, I had a good book that laid out various coop requirements and dimensions.

Good luck!
