Coop Habits/Habitation

Coop is nearing done....they slept in it last night & will tonight... How do I teach them to enter or exit the coop on their own ?

Well you can wait until they roost at dusk and physically move them each night until they get the hang of it or if possible keep them in their for a few days to get adjusted then just open the door

I trained my girls that the coop was their home by leaving them in the coop for several days straight. After a few days I opened up the door to let them free range. They were very hesitant about leaving at first. Four weeks later they are roaming my 5 acres and then some. I have built a run and stopped letting them free range only because I do not want to lose any more of my feathery friends.
