coop height opinions please

While reading about coops and space requirements, I have either overlooked or didn't see any reference to the height needs inside the coop. I believe I have read somewhere that the roost needs to be 12-18" off of the floor.
How high should/must the roof be for standard breed chickens?

How many chickens are in your flock? I have 4 Black Australorps (heavy breeds) and my coop is 5' x 8' x 7' tall. This way I can walk into the coop to do chores, etc. Everyone's preferences are different...have you visited the
