Well, today we cut out the chicken door and created a door to cover it from the outside that is hinged at the bottom. When opened, it will be the chicken's ladder to the run (which is yet to be built). I am pretty happy with how this has turned out. What started as kind of a yucky old storage shed in our yard is now a beautiful coop for our poultry princesses. All that is left to do now is finish the outside window frames, vent the roof, and add a layer of new shingles. We have those left over from recently re-roofing our house and garage.
