Well, sorta done. Of course, the coop project is never ending and I keep revising it... but it is much closer to done and looking good enough to share pics!
Here is the coop. I like bold, bright colors so I couldn't stand the idea of doing the coop barn red, like my husband wanted!
Here is the side with a decent sized 'people door'. I have had no trouble getting in there and cleaning it, so far its working well. On the other side, we are adding another 'chicken door' and a window for additional air flow. The side chicken door will lead into an enclosed run. We are also going to enclose under the coop as part of the run to provide the chickens with some covered shelter.
We have four hens and a rooster and they appear to be very happy in their new home. Actually, they have been living in there for nearly two months, but I just finished painting!
