Coop - Linoleum Floor - run it up wall ?

Coop - Linoleum Floor - run it up wall a little ?

This afternoon I will be laying a Linoleum floor in the chicken coop.

The piece I have is over sized . . . I thinking I should run the linoleum up the wall a little, rather than just cut it to fit the floor.

Has anyone done this, or not done it and wish that had ?

that would be a good idea to help protect the base of your walls from moisture.

Yes, a lot of people have done that. Good idea as water will eventually get under the linoleum anyway.

That sounds like a great idea! I'm such a newbie, but I am learning so much from all the WONDERFUL people on this board. We bought some clearance sticky tiles for ours, paid about .50 each I think. I wish I would have found this site before I built our coop, but I know when it comes time to remodel...

I installed mine up the wall about 14" to the bottom of the pop-door and fill with pine shavings. Works great and makes cleaning a breeze.
